About Us
Established in 2013 by our Scottish-Italian founder, the Stonehenge Foundation is a family organisation that wishes to uphold values to stand strong and true to their origins. Just as the amazing prehistoric Stonehenge monument has changed throughout time, built and then rebuilt by generations, our foundations' goal is to build on the ever-changing face of our universe. Matters such as aid for those in need, sustainability, our planet, and wildlife are followed closely and supported. At Stonehenge Foundation, we believe that we are required to
"be the change we want to see" (Mahatma Gandhi).
Our Founder
Born in Italy of Scottish heritage in 1960, Roberto Pucciano went on to travel the world. He saw the damages created by our society firsthand, leading to creating a vehicle that could help sustain others with similar visions.
“As a young man, I fought for Greenpeace, and I quickly realised there was no respect for the beautiful nature that surrounds us – the equilibrium of life had been broken. On my subsequent travels, I observed horrific realities that lay the foundations of my wish to establish a vehicle that could protect my family for years to come, giving our future generations a little bit of certitude. Soon realising how ‘lucky’ we are, I decided to extend the foundation to give others a little of this luck, to do my bit in creating a better world for the future.”
Our Mission
Our mission is to seek out foundations and charitable organisations that have similar values and goals to our own. The world is in dire need of help. Whether we look at poverty-stricken nations, global warming, the alarming rate our animal kingdom is declining perched on the edge of extinction, our neighbours who find themselves battling illnesses, or talented children with no hope to ever exploit their gifts. Individuals alone cannot save all. But together, we are stronger.
